STUDENT CONTRACT
(Code of Conduct & Student Responsibilities)

1. INTRODUCTION

This Student Contract outlines the behaviour expectations, conduct rules, responsibilities, and academic standards required of all students enrolled at Al-Rushd Online School.

By signing this document, the student agrees to follow all rules and maintain respectful, responsible behaviour at all times.



2. STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT



2.1 Behaviour & Respect

• Treat teachers, staff, and peers with respect at all times.

• Bullying, harassment, offensive language, discrimination, or inappropriate comments are strictly prohibited.

• Conflicts must be resolved calmly and respectfully.



2.2 Lesson Expectations

• Camera must remain ON unless written permission is granted.

• Students must be in school uniform.

• Eating, lying down or inappropriate posture is not permitted.

• Chat function may only be used when instructed by the teacher.



2.3 Peer Communication

• No private messaging with peers regarding school matters.

• No unsanctioned WhatsApp/Discord/social media groups.

• Only school-approved study or revision groups may be joined.



2.4 Technology Use

• Devices must be used solely for learning during lessons.

• No gaming, inappropriate browsing, or misuse of school platforms.

• Students must not share login details or access others’ accounts.



2.5 Academic Integrity

• All homework, classwork, and assessments must be completed independently.

• Cheating, plagiarism, and AI misuse is strictly forbidden.

• Exam misconduct may result in a zero mark or further disciplinary action.



2.6 Privacy & Data Protection

Students must NOT:

• Record lessons

• Take screenshots

• Share lesson content

• Share images, videos, or voices of teachers or students



2.7 Attendance & Punctuality

• Students must attend all lessons punctually.

• Repeated lateness or absence may result in intervention.



2.8 Disciplinary Pathway

1. Verbal warning

2. Removal from lesson

3. Parent contact and possible suspension



3. STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES

The student agrees to:

• Join lessons on time every day with camera on.

• Participate respectfully and actively.

• Complete all assignments on time.

• Bring all required materials to lessons.

• Follow staff instructions politely.

• Inform parents of any communication from the school.

• Uphold Al-Rushd values and maintain good behaviour online and offline.

• Act responsibly and represent the school with integrity.
